Polish developers, CD Projekt Red, took home the most Golden Joystick awards this year, totaling five awards in major categories such as “Best Studio” and “Game of the Year” for their acclaimed release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Studio of the Year – CD Projekt RED
Game of the Year – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Best Storytelling – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Best Visual Design – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Best Gaming Moment – Bloody Baron quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
This year, they were stacked against some major contenders such as From Software’s Bloodborne (which was nominated in 9 categories), Batman: Arkham Knight by Rocksteady Studios, and Metal Gear Solid V from Kojima Productions.
The fan-voted event had the studio winning awards for every category in which they were nominated. With the 2015 award season closing in just a few months, will there be even more awards in store for a studio with this much community approval?
